OUR HISTORY

Romiley Health Centre opened approximately 30 years ago to accommodate all of the Romiley GPs.

Dr Mather was one of those GPs and was accompanied by Dr Wynroe. In 1988, when Dr Mather retired, Dr Maclure joined the Practice and Dr Spreckley joined the Practice in 2001. Shortly afterwards Dr Wynroe decided it was time she retired. Dr Gallagher was with us for a short time in 2002 before Dr Morgan joined in July 2003. In January 2004 Dr Maclure decided it was time for him to move on and Dr Byrne then joined our team until Autumn 2006. In April 2005 Dr Meenal Gor joined the Partnership followed in February 2006 by Dr Simon Woodworth. Dr Melanie Mather completed Partnership in June 2007.

We are now a five doctor Partnership offering a personal family service of a kind we hope we would receive as patients at our own Doctors. We have families of our own so hopefully we understand problems parents have.
