PHONING THE SURGERY

On Monday March 16th our telephone system supplier performed an audit for us. Between the time of 8.30am and 9.00am (30 minutes) 2248 calls were logged trying to get through!

With this in mind, we hope our patients understand that if it appears to be ringing out for a long time it isn't that we're ignoring the calls but that the receptionists are busy on other lines. We prefer not to install a filtering system such as "Press 1 for this", "Press 2 for that" as we feel this is even more frustrating.

Unless your phone call is urgent we advise you to wait until later in the morning before trying to phone us and thank you for your consideration and patience.

Dr Melanie Mather gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, in December, Sister Cath Pierce gave birth to a little girl in December and Miss Claire Wood gave birth to a little girl in March. All are doing very well.
